The Sahara Hotel and Casino:

The Sahara opened in 1952 and was one of the first hotel casinos in Las Vegas. Compact for easy access to all facilities and attractions, the hotel draws guests seeking less noise and the slower pace of a different era combined with modern amenities such as a business center and wireless Internet access.

A sundeck, palm trees, and fountains surround the Sahara® Las Vegas Hotel’s 5,000-square-foot seasonal pool. Next to the pool, a large spa tub is set beneath a filigreed wrought-iron dome. Cabana rentals with massages, and bar and towel services are available. NASCAR® fans covet the NASCAR® Café, complete with high-definition television all around, while nostalgia buffs head for the Congo Room to hear the Platters, Coasters, Marvelettes, and other legendary musical performers.

Located two miles from the Las Vegas Convention Center, the four-tower Sahara® Las Vegas Hotel and Casino showcases a Moroccan theme. Decor features Moorish accents such as peaked domes and jeweled light fixtures. This Las Vegas hotel houses a sparkling, 5,000-square-foot seasonal pool with an adjacent spa tub, in addition to 85,000 square feet of gaming space and multiple meeting rooms. Ever-popular buffet dining is available, along with a classic steakhouse, Mexican restaurant, and a casual 24-hour venue. On-site shops sell NASCAR® memorabilia, Las Vegas souvenirs, swimwear, jewelry, and other wares.
